Commentary on 1 Chronicles 10:6

Theological / Devotional

All his house died. This statement is not intended to convey the idea that there were no survivors of the house of Saul, for Ish-bosheth survived (2 Sam. 2:8). Its object seems, rather, to indicate the completeness of the fall. The family of Saul was no more to rise to power.
