With you. The land had been conquered, and the enemies that had risen up against Israel had been subdued. God’s promises to His people had been fulfilled. The Lord’s presence was with them and would continue to remain with them as long as they remained faithful to Him. So why should they not join heartily in the building of the Temple as if this enterprise were their very own?
