Commentary on 1 Corinthians 15:48
Theological / Devotional“As is the earthy. As is the earthy one,” that is, Adam. All the descendants of Adam partake of his fallen nature. They are frail, mortal, subject like him to corruption and death.
Heavenly. At the resurrection the bodies of the saints will be changed, and the new bodies will be “fashioned like unto his [Christ’s] glorious body” (Phil. 3:20, 21).
