Theological / Devotional

Between Asa and Baasha. During the first ten years of Asa’s reign the land was peaceful (2 Chron. 14:1, 6). In his 15th year he gained a great victory over the invading armies of Zerah the Ethiopian (2 Chron. 14:9-15; cf. 2 Chron. 15:10). It was probably after that that hostilities broke out with Baasha of Israel.
