Theological / Devotional

Merciful kings. It was a good report that had gone out among the nations around that the kings of Israel were merciful kings. If all rulers would only rule with mercy and compassion, if kindness took the place of cruelty, and justice and brotherly love the place of oppression and wrong, what a different world this would be.
