Theological / Devotional

The oracle. That is, the most holy place, or the holy of holies, the innermost apartment of the Temple. The meaning is probably that, at a distance of 20 cu. in front of the rear wall, Solomon constructed a partition made of cedar boards, reaching from the floor to the ceiling.
