Theological / Devotional

The ark. The most important article in the Temple was the ark containing the tables of the law of the covenant (Ex. 34:1, 4, 10, 27, 28). According to the directions of Moses, it was placed “within the vail,” in the most holy place of the ancient tabernacle (Ex. 26:33). It was set in the corresponding place in the Temple of Solomon.
