Gibeah. Gibeah is now generally identified with Tell el-Ful, a lookout point on the crest of the central range of mountains, 3 1/2 mi. (5.6 km.) north of Jerusalem. The ruins of what is believed to have been Saul’s fortress-capital there have been recently been excavated (see Vol. I, p. 124).
