Theological / Devotional

Upon me, my lord. A gracious gesture, and one that had probably become habitual with her. No doubt oft, unbeknown to Nabal, she had turned his folly into a new lease on life in the hope that he might see the beauty of an entirely different concept of life. This noble woman represented herself as the one on whom the folly rested and therefore the one to receive the punishment.
