Theological / Devotional

On all the kingdoms. This may have been the time when the Philistines brought “presents and tribute silver” and the Arabians brought their gifts to Jehoshaphat and when “the fear of the Lord fell upon all the kingdoms of the lands that were round about” (ch. 17:10, 11). Certain of the main features of Jehoshaphat’s reign have been summarized in ch.17.
