Theological / Devotional

Jehoshaphat reigned. Verses 31-37 present a number of closing notices concerning the reign of Jehoshaphat. They are closely parallel to 1 Kings 22:41-49, the entire account of Jehoshaphat’s reign that is given in Kings. The parallel passage adds that Jehoshaphat began his reign in the 4th year of Ahab (1 Kings 22:41).
