Theological / Devotional

If, when evil cometh. This is a condensation of Solomon’s prayer at the dedication of the Temple (ch. 6:24-30). God had heard the prayer of Solomon and gave him a token to this effect (ch. 7:1-3). Jehoshaphat now claimed the answer to that prayer.
