Theological / DevotionalRegions beyond. The only indication of the regions Paul has in mind is in Rom. 15:19-24 — Illyricum, Italy, and Spain. It is evident that there were already Christians at Rome and that a church existed there (Rom. 1:7—13), but apparently without the benefit of apostolic labors.
Another man’s line. That is, the region of labor belonging to someone else. Under no circumstances would Paul encroach upon the territory of another and take credit for his labors, as the false apostles at Corinth had done.
