Theological / Devotional

Confidence in you. Or, “courage concerning you.” This verse is considered by many authorities to be a transition or link between all that he has written in the previous chapters and what is now to follow. These words fittingly dismiss all the mistakes and misunderstandings of the past and express true reconciliation. At the same time they provide a fitting introduction to the subject of the great collection for the poor Christians in Judea, which Paul was vigorously promoting among the Gentile churches.
