Commentary on 2 Kings 14:24

Theological / Devotional

Evil. This is the regular condemnation of the rulers of the northern kingdom. In the long line of Israel’s kings there was none of whom it could be said that he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord. Jeroboam was of the dynasty of Jehu, but he followed in the evil ways of the dynasty of Omri and Ahab that Jehu overthrew.
