Theological / Devotional

Also Judah. The fate of Israel should have served as a warning to Judah. Though now spared, the national transgression of the southern kingdom, unless checked, would result in the same national ruin that had come to Israel.

Which they made. The customs that the Israelites introduced and that were followed by Judah (see ch. 16:3).
