Theological / Devotional

Cities of Samaria. Josiah went as far as Naphtali (2 Chron. 34:6). Samaria was then under the control of Assyria. Assyria was weak at this time and probably did not attempt to interfere with these excursions of Josiah into territories under its domain (see pp. 66, 67).
