Theological / Devotional

In the twilight. They waited till nightfall, when in the darkness they could make their way to the enemy camp unobserved by their countrymen upon the walls, who might consider their scheme an act of desertion.

The uttermost part. That is, the edge of the Syrian camp nearest the city, not its most distant part.
