Theological / Devotional

Shewed kindness. If the Nahash who had been kind to David was the Nahash who had been defeated by Saul (1 Sam. 11:1-11), as seems probable (2 Sam. 10:1,2), the friendship of Nahash toward David while he was a fugitive from Saul can be easily understood (see PP 714).
