Theological / Devotional

Put garrisons in Edom. The great victory gained by David’s forces over the Edomites in the valley of salt (2 Sam. 8:13; 1 Chron. 18:12) was followed by the placing of garrisons there, in the same manner as David had previously placed garrisons in Syria (2 Sam. 8:6).
