Theological / Devotional

God raised him. See Acts 2:32; John 5:26; 10:17, 18. Paul presents the resurrection as proof God fulfilled promises to Abraham and David of a “seed” blessing all nations (Gen. 12:1-3). Jesus was “declared to be the Son of God with power... by the resurrection” (Rom. 1:4). The resurrection is necessary in gospel development and proof Jesus is Messiah.
