Theological / Devotional

Declare glad tidings. Greek euaggelizo, “to proclaim good news,” technically “to preach the gospel” (Acts 5:42). Paul declares that while the Twelve are Jesus’ witnesses, Barnabas and he are evangelists bringing “good news.”

The promise. The prophecy’s promise becomes the gospel’s “glad tidings.” The promise and glad tidings are one.
