Theological / Devotional

Paul sent into Macedonia two of his helpers, Timothy and Erastus. Timothy was sent ahead to warn and counsel believers, sparing Paul from undue severity. He was instructed to return to Paul and was with him when he wrote the second Corinthians letter. Erastus is identified with a Corinthian official who laid pavement at his own expense.
