Paul entered the synagogue, following apostolic custom, likely on Sabbaths since he was a Sabbath keeper and worked during the week. Sabbaths presented the best opportunities to contact Jews. He spoke boldly, disputing and persuading about the kingdom of God for three months, likely continuing his tentmaking work alongside.
