Ways of life. This agrees with the LXX, which is a very free rendering of the Hebrew (see on Ps. 16:11).

Joy. Gr. euphrosune, “well-mindedness,” “cheerfulness,” “gladness.”

With thy countenance. God’s countenance, that is, His presence, is the source of cheer and gladness.
