Theological / Devotional

At midday. The blinding light was not that of the sun, for Paul had been traveling for hours under its increasing brightness, without distress. In the brightest sunlight, a supernatural light, even brighter than that of the sun, blinded him. In vs. 13-18 only points in the narrative of Paul’s conversion not commented on in ch. 9:1-22 are discussed (see p. 228).
