Let me go. Or, “set me at liberty.” Compare chs. 25:25; 26:32. If bribes had been forthcoming as Felix hoped, that corrupt governor would doubtless have released Paul (ch. 24:26). All the officials before whom Paul had stood, and doubtless the tribunes of the guard, were convinced of his innocence.
