Do presumptuously. The root of the word thus translated means “to boil up,” “to seethe,” to act rebelliously, and the derived Hebrew noun, as here, “insolence,” “pride,” “presumptuousness” (see Deut. 18:22; 1 Sam. 17:28; Jer. 49:16).
