Theological / Devotional

Into Egypt. No more fearful punishment could have been inflicted than a forced return to the land of slavery from which God had delivered them.

Ships. Probably engaged in the slave traffic (see Eze. 27:13; Joel 3:6; Amos 1:9). Here ends Moses’ third oration.
