Theological / Devotional

The host of heaven. The worship of the heavenly bodies is a snare into which man has fallen from earliest times. Today such worship is common in many Eastern countries. For a record of this sin among God’s people see 2 Kings 17:16; 21:3, 5; 23:4, 5; Jer. 44:18, 19; Eze. 8:16; Zeph. 1:5.
