Theological / Devotional

Circumspectly. Gr. akribos, “strictly,” “accurately,” “diligently,” “carefully.” Textual evidence is divided (cf. p. 10) between this and the reading, “Take diligent heed how you walk.” The believer is urged to follow a disciplined course. He is to make every effort to resist the temptations that surround him.

Fools. Literally, “unwise ones.”
