Theological / Devotional

The month Tebet. This corresponded to the latter part of December and the first part of January. In the seventh year of Ahasuerus, Tebeth began on Dec. 22 (479 B.C.) and ended Jan. 20 (478 B.C.). Having returned from the disastrous Greek expedition the year before, he was no doubt content to dismiss military matters from his thoughts.
