Commentary on Exodus 19:14

Theological / Devotional

Moses went down. Returning to the foot of Mt. Sinai, Moses, in obedience to the command of v. 10, instructed the people in regard to preparations for the giving of the law. At the same time he must have ordered the construction of the fence which was to hold the people back from the mount, and to which he alludes in v. 23 as completed.
