Commentary on Exodus 24:9

Theological / Devotional

Then went up Moses. After the ratification of the covenant Moses, Aaron, his sons, and the elders complied with God’s call to “come up” (verse 1). The group ascended part way, certainly not to the summit, which Moses alone had the privilege of visiting (verses 2, 12). The others were to worship “afar off.”
