Theological / Devotional

The holy crown. The golden plate with its blue lace ribbon was a kind of diadem, regarded in the East as an emblem of royalty. It marked the royal character of the high priest, who, as a type of Christ, was both priest and king (Lev. 8:9; Zech. 6:11-13; Matt. 2:2 ; 27:37).
