Theological / Devotional

I am the Lord. This is the only important variation in the repetition of vs. 10-12. It is possible that every revelation made to Moses was authenticated by these initial words “I am the Lord,” which have the force of that initial phrase so often found in the utterances of the later prophets, “Thus saith the Lord.”
