Amber. Heb. chashmal. By various repetitions the prophet attempts to describe the exceeding brightness and glory of the scene. Yet the display is but a dim replica of the original; for the Eternal Father dwells “in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see” (1 Tim. 6:16).
