Theological / Devotional

Against the daughters. False prophetesses are not mentioned elsewhere in the Old Testament. Among true prophetesses are Miriam (Exodus 15:20), Deborah (Judges 4:4), Huldah (2 Kings 22:14), and in the New Testament times Anna (Luke 2:36) and the four daughters of Philip the evangelist (Acts 21:8, 9).
