Theological / Devotional

Plainly. Some commentators have suggested translating the Aramaic word meparash as “in Persian,” which would make good sense here. Since the same word, however, occurs in another Aramaic document where only the meaning “plainly” fits the context, the translation of the KJV must be accepted as correct.
