Theological / Devotional

The sons of Shem. The enumeration of Shem’s descendants is concluded in words similar to those of Japheth and Ham in verses 5 and 20. There is no doubt that the names given in this table of nations refer primarily to tribes and peoples, and but indirectly to individuals.
