Theological / Devotional

On the third day. Two days of travel brought the travelers — Abraham, Isaac, and two servants — into the land of Moriah. Two sleepless nights had been spent in prayer. Arising early on the morning of the third day, Abraham beheld the divinely appointed sign, a cloud of glory, indicating the mountain on which the sacrifice was to be made (PP 151).
