Room to lodge in. Eliezer was convinced that the young woman whose acquaintance he had made in so remarkable a way was the one chosen by God to accompany him back to Canaan. Hospitality seems to have been the common practice at Rebekah’s home; otherwise she would not have felt at liberty to invite a stranger to stay with them.
