Theological / Devotional

I am Esau. The task of convincing his father was by no means easy or certain of success. Flaving announced his arrival, Jacob was confronted with several embarrassing questions. One deception after another was necessary to the accomplishment of his objective. He declared himself to be Esau and the kid’s meat to be venison, and attributed his speedy return to the presumed blessing of God.
