Theological / Devotional

They fed in a meadow. The Hebrew word ’achu translated “meadow,” is also borrowed from the Egyptian. This is derived from the Egyptian ’ichi and means “reed” or “grass.” It is used only in Gen. 41:2, 18 and Job 8:11, and provides one of the arguments in favor of attributing both books, Genesis and Job, to the same author.
