Commentary on Habakkuk 3:5

Theological / Devotional

Pestilence. Habakkuk now sets forth the effect of the divine appearance. Upon the unrighteous, “pestilence” will fall. In other words, destruction will come upon the wicked. Burning coals. Heb. resheph, “a flame,” here probably used figuratively to mean “a plague.”
