Theological / Devotional

Prophet. Moses is the prophet here alluded to (see Ex. 3:4-12; Ps. 77:20; Isa. 63:11-14). Just as Israel of old was preserved by the prophet Moses, so will God’s people today be preserved by giving heed to the appointed messengers of God and ordering their lives in harmony with the counsel thus imparted (see 2 Peter 1:9).
