Theological / Devotional

As the chased roe. Or, “like a hunted gazelle” (RSV). See on v. 4. In the last days the wicked of all nations will be scattered as sheep without a shepherd. As in fright animals seek places that have, in the past, been places of shelter and refuge, so the wicked will seek for some place to hide from the final wrath of God, but will find none.
