Theological / Devotional

Howl. The doom of Tyre was to bring distress to all the coast line of Phoenicia (see on v. 2) and to other areas that depended upon Phoenician commerce. Those inhabitants of Tyre who were able to escape from the city would flee to such distant places as Tarshish.
