Theological / DevotionalA vineyard of red wine. In ch. 5:1-7 Isaiah sang a dirge over Israel, which is pictured as an unfruitful vineyard. Here the song is of a much more pleasant nature, for this vineyard ultimately fills the whole world with fruit (ch. 27:6).
