Theological / Devotional

Thus saith the Lord. It appears that Isaiah was not present when Hezekiah offered his earnest prayer, but that the Lord informed His prophet of the prayer, and of the favorable answer that would be given. At this time of national crisis God would not leave His people without hope. See on 2 Kings 19:20.
